This prestigious award is made by the Higher Education Academy to recognise and celebrate teaching excellence in Higher Education.

Each HEI can nominate up to three people each year, and as the Academy offers only 50 Fellowships each year, you can imagine that the competition is fierce!

To give you an idea of what is involved in being nominated, I have attached my own documentation. This is purely to illustrate how it worked for me – each person who applies has to find their own way of celebrating their excellence, against set criteria. But you will gain a picture of what makes me tick as a teacher, and what has given me satisfaction in working with the wide range of students at Staffordshire University.
