  Working with loss

This training pack forms the basis for my training events relevant to workers in a wide range of organisations, to help people understand the complexities of loss, and ways of responding to it.

    Understanding disability

Disability Awareness is an increasingly important aspect of any organisation's responsibility towards its workforce.

This training pack provides relevant material and exercises to help people engage with this important topic.

I am happy to explore training and facilitation opportunities in -

  • Health
  • Social Work
  • Social Care
  • Faith based groups and organisations

Themes and topics include -

  • How to make learning more enjoyable
  • Exploring Loss, including contemporary theoretical perspective
  • Developing active listening skills
  • Development of communication skills
  • Developing training skills in using simulated ‘clients/service users’ in social work and social care settings
  • Exploring contemporary spirituality
  • Exploring disability
  • Religion and Spirituality in health and social care.

These topics may be of particular interest to organisations committed to providing Continual Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for their workforce. Certificates of attendance will be issued on request.

Please note - Although I can provide ‘off the peg’ workshops, I am much more interested in working closely with organisations to plan events together in order to gain the maximum benefit for everyone concerned.
